Doing our bit for local and national charities
23/11/2019: We are hosting a Christmas Fayre to raise much needed and deserved funds for Compassionate Communities (based at our local medical practice). They provide support to anyone over the age of 18 who require assistance to maintain their independence. Such as providing local information about activities, interest groups. Signposting to transport, bereavement support, organisations that can help with adaptations to your home. They assist with arranging support for you or someone you care about, and they can help find a friend to come and spend time with you or your relative.
We hope that it will be a good day out for people of all ages.
We have a whole host of activities, craft stalls, Christmas fun and opportunities to win prizes-from a tombola and raffle to a pre-school and KS1 colouring competition.
We have lots of craft stall holders already booked in, offering opportunities to purchase special Christmas gifts (or something for yourself.) We will also have a Bric-a-Brac and Nearly new kids clothes sale.
Lots of fun activities for the children (and adults if they so wish) such as Christmas crafts, face painting and Creche.
There will be plenty to eat and drink, a pop up cafe with toasties, light bites, cake and hot/soft drinks will be available all day.
